2. Sort Now is the time to start going through you belongings and determining whether or not to keep that old toaster that has been sitting in the back of your cupboard for the last 5 years! It is a good time to de-clutter and either throw or give away all those unwanted belongings.
3. Consultation Now that you have determined what you require to be moved contact Watkins Removals to arrange a no obligation pre-removal survey of your belongings. Having an experienced consultant come to you in your home will give you peace of mind that the job will be done to your satisfaction. 4. Protection Once the removal consultant has gone through the removal process with you it is time to determine the value of the items being moved. From here we can arrange an insurance cover to best suit your needs this will help to minimise stress in the event of any damages. 5. Arrange Now that your removal dates have been set with Watkins Removals you can organise your travel details and accommodation at the origin and destination. Knowing that you have somewhere to stay whilst your goods are in transit will be a big weight off your mind. 6. Separate Before removal day arrives make sure you have set aside all important documentation, money, jewellery, passports & plane tickets (if necessary) and any other items that you do not wish to be packed or moved by the removal team. 7. Uplift When the big day arrives make sure that either yourself or a trusted relative/friend is with the removal team to authorise and sign off on the paperwork declaring that the condition of the furniture and effects being relocated have not been altered in any way. Don’t forget to talk to our consultant about additional services such as house and carpet cleaning!
8. Delivery Upon delivery into your new house Watkins Removals will place all furniture into the appropriate rooms and re-assemble all the furniture that we disassembled at the time of uplift. Once delivery is complete our guys will clear away any empty boxes and paper then return at a later date to collect the rest of your empty boxes and paper.
